Samsung Galaxy S 2 /Plus i9001 1.4GHz Coming Soon

Samsung’s awaited next generation Smartphone Galaxy S 2 or Galaxy S Plus i9001 is coming soon. Sources say new Samsung Galaxy S is going to launch in Russia next month.

 

The new Samsung Galaxy S 2011 is coming with 1.4GHz processor along with 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, 5 megapixel camera with recording capability of 720p HD video, 8GB of internal storage and Bluetooth 3.0 like features. The Galaxy S Plus 2011 will run on Android 2.3 Gingerbread, with Samsung’s own TouchWiz 3.0 on top.

The Galaxy S 2011 edition is expected to hit Russia around the end of April and expected price of 23,990 Rubles ($846). Right now there is no news for release in other country.

BlackBerry Touch Monaco / Monza Images Leaked

BlackBerry upcoming mobile phone Monaco/Monza (both are codename) images are leaked and will be officially available in May.

According to BGR sources Verizon Wireless will get the Monaco while the BlackBerry Monza will be the global GSM version. The new phone is likely not a member of the Storm family. It will be much lighter and faster BlackBerry. The phone will run on BlackBerry new OS 6.1 and users will need a BlackBerry ID to login to the system.

Samsung Unveiled Galaxy Tab 8.9-Inch

After unveiling Galaxy 10.1 on Mobile World Congress 2011 Samsung have unveiled Galaxy 8.9 Tab at CTIA Wireless Show in Orlando, Florida.

Samsung announced new Tab with 8.9-inch display and redesigned Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 (with 10.1-inch display) Android 3.0 Honeycomb powered with 1GHz dual core processor. Both Tablets are thinner than iPad 2. The new tablet is just 8.6 mm thickness and weighs 470 grams only make it much lighter and thinner than iPad 2.

 

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will also come with 2 cameras. A 3 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. The new Tab will supports Adobe Flash 10.2.

Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi-Only Release Date

Motorola has announced the release date of Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi-Only version which will be released on March 27 in U.S. at the price of $599.99.

Motorola’s first tablet Xoom 3G versions was released in February at the price tag of $799. Xoom is based on Google Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS. Just after that Apple released iPad 2 which is much better then before and the price of 3G version starting at $629. Thus there is great competition for Motorola Xoom.

The iPad 2 will be available from March 11 in U.S. and will cost $499 for 16 GB model, $599 for 32 GB model and $699 for the 64 GB model. The 3G model will cost more $629 for 16 GB model, $729 for 32 GB model and $829 64 GB model. iPad 2 will be available on March 25 in Mexico, much of Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

According to Steve Jobs iPad 2 is new from the bottom up. There are many changes maid like now its dual core, 2 cameras, much thinner then before and will come with new cover. Have a look of new feature of iPad 2.

iPad 2 is now 33 percent thinner and 15 percent lighter then iPad 1.

 

iPad 2 have got power of dual core with A5 chip. iPad 2 is a 1GHz dual-core Apple A5 processor. Apple says the A5 is two times faster than the previous processor and graphics performance is nine times faster. The A5 is low-power consumption rating, the new model promises 10 hours of battery life.

iPad 2 will come with 2 camera, front camera is capable of recording VGA-resolution (640-by-480) video at 30 frames per second with audio and can take still photos at 640-by-480. The back camera can record HD video at 720p at 30 frames per second with audio. When in still camera mode, the back camera has a 5X digital zoom.

iPad 2 will come with iOS 4.3, the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. iOS 4.3 comes with faster Safari mobile browser,  iTunes Home Sharing, Better AirPlay, a personal hotspot to share an iPhone 4′s data connection over Wi-Fi.

Apple has introduced some new iPad 2 cases. They have magnets on them that attach automatically to the screen. The iPad 2 will automatically wake when the case is opened, and the case folds back to put you in prime typing position.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch Unveiled – Release Date

On Mobile World Congress 2011 Samsung has confirmed about the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1-inch can be the real competition for Apple iPad.


Today there are many tablet pc available but no one is close to Apple iPad as iPad comes with great feature with 10 inch screen. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7-inch is great product but not comparable with Apple iPad.



Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 inch is expected to come with features like 10.1 inch (1280 x 800) TFT touching screen display, Tegra 2 processor, storage between 16GB and 32GB, Android 3.0/Honeycomb, HSPA+, two cameras (one 8-megapixel with LED flash and one in back with 2-megapixel camera on the front), Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, support for USB 2.0, and WiFi.

Samsung have not yet exact release date and price but it is expected that it will be available in Asia and European market by this March and soon in US too.
